NUMARQE is currently only available for companies incorporated in the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA). We plan to expand to other jurisdictions this year.
NUMARQE currently offers GBP, EUR and USD currencies for your corporate cards. You can choose your currency when you add a new card to your account. A card can only be denominated in one currency but you can spend on your card anywhere regardless of the currency. We plan to launch more currencies later in the year.
We underwrite credit in real-time using metrics generated from open banking. NUMARQE’s AI-driven technology enables us to underwrite credit risk in real-time and offer your company much more substantial credit limits than other credit providers. Your credit limit will be determined by a number of different factors, primarily driven by your company metrics including financial performance, card activity, repayment history and credit scores. Our credit limits are dynamic, which means they flex on your company’s metrics. In simple terms, we can offer much higher limits to corporates with more positive metrics than their peers.

Wherever Mastercard is accepted, NUMARQE cards are accepted too. Mastercard is a leader in world payment technology and it’s network spans over 60 million merchants in more than 200 countries.
We only offer Mastercards with a credit line provided by NUMARQE. You do not have to pre-fund your spend on your cards. Our cards are backed by a credit line provided by NUMARQE, meaning you have a minimum of 30 days credit on your purchases. You must settle your credit balances in full every month on the specified due date.
NUMARQE offers both virtual and physical cards. Virtual cards are compatible with both Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Virtual cards are digital versions of physical cards, with all the card data being accessible on the NUMARQE platform or in your mobile phone wallet via Apple Pay or Google Pay. As they are digital, they cannot be lost, scratched or damaged in any way.
The NUMARQE virtual cards are free to issue. The advantages of virtual cards are their flexibility - you can instantly issue them and tailor them for specific purchases. By applying NUMARQE’s customisable spend controls, virtual cards are extremely useful for specific use cases. For example, issuing a specific virtual card for spend by a specific department or project, for purchases at a specific merchant (e.g. software subscription) or for purchases with a preset time limit or value limit.
There is no limit to the number of users who can be assigned a NUMARQE card. You can also give cards to a department or a team. The number of users can be changed at any time.
NUMARQE can be configured to create an automated feed or export file of transaction data in journal format to post into your accounting software. You can upload your chart of accounts to map transactions to the appropriate cost centre or GL account code. Our platform will remember this mapping and auto-predict these codes the next time they appear.
Furthermore, NUMARQE can pull digital receipts straight from the merchant against each purchase transaction or if you prefer you can upload photos/files of the relevant receipt.
NUMARQE’s cards cannot be used to withdraw cash from an ATM. However, you can change your PIN at an ATM.
We do not require you to load or deposit money to your NUMARQE account. The only time we will ask you to send us any funds is at the end of the month when we have issued you with your monthly statement in order for you to settle your outstanding balance with us.

Yes. NUMARQE treats security and data protection as their highest priority. Access to the NUMARQE platform is secured by strong password controls and Multi-factor authentication. NUMARQE cards are enabled for 3DS to ensure additional protection for online purchases. All personal data is stored in accordance with regulatory standards set by the UK Data Protection Act and European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All our card data is stored and processed in line with the payment card industry standards, being fully compliant with PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Onboarding your company onto NUMARQE, setting up cards for your employees, and allowing them to spend takes a matter of minutes. Your dedicated Relationship Manager will be on hand to walk you through every step of the way, provide training to yourself and the team, and share best practices with you.
We understand that some in months you may require more or less credit than others, if for example, you have a seasonal business, or you need another currency to pay a new supplier or heading on a business trip. That’s why we’ve made our credit dynamic - If you need more credit for that month, your Relationship Manager can facilitate this and then drop it back again afterwards. If you’re heading off on a trip, you can allocate a proportion of your credit line to an alternative currency credit card (GBP, EUR, USD) in seconds.
You can easily create new cards in either GBP, EUR or USD in seconds and allocate credit to them. This means if you are needing to go away on a business trip or have to make a payment in that particular currency you won’t be charged any FX fees. We’ll be adding more currencies this year.
